I have had it up to here *points to forehead* with tafe projects.
there..i said it...

I have had a bad holidays, and not because of the thousand word essay, the essay is going fine...
but because of three little postcards and a wrapping paper.Its the last two days of the holidays and i still don't have postcards, and no, i havn't been slack...I've collected free postcards, done research, stared at a blank page for 3 hours straight...
I am so fustrated with my designs at this point and so disenchanted with my design course.
I might not be cut out for this...i might have been creative at some point in my life, but i swear i've lost that now, all my stuff has been done before, all I can do at this point is look in envy at other peoples work and wish i had that sort of creativity and skill.

HOKAY so...

I've started putting together my proposal for my huge project and I've started collecting heaps of new music <3 Mp3....

I want to start to learn how to play the guitar this year...so I can start to put together my very own music , I've never been incredibly musically minded (in my opinion) so I'm hoping to push myself to learn something new. I dont expect I'll be making any groundbreaking music, but i would like to experiment with sound as a medium.

For those who didnt see my first journal, I've just started a year long project for college on music and its relation to art. I havent submitted any art..as you can see...but thats not too far away now.

hopefully I will be able to submit some audio tracks from garage band or my guitar playing (if I get good enough).

Theres a couple reasons why I cleared out my gallery...

#1 I'm doing a year long project for my adv. diploma in graphic design and this site would be the perfect media for uploading my ideas and blog whilst receiving a bit of feedback, so I decided to start fresh.

#2 I woke up this morning and just hated everything.

I decided after a bit of researching (daydreaming) that I would study music and its relation to art for my year long project. Although this was a hasty decision (my lecturer and the other students were staring at me waiting for an answer), I don't think I could've picked a better subject...I mean, for the rest of the year Ill have an excuse to listen to my ipod in class (:

Plus...I discovered last year while creating a CD cover and poster for a local musician that music and art have a vital bond. I found that when I listened to her music I could develop images in my head...this escalated over the year until it was like an addiction...I needed my music before I could design. I'd be up late at night downloading tracks until I had spent all my bandwidth...at the worst point I was filling out surveys just to get my next fix...

Hopefully you will be caring enough to donate a comment or two to a needy student as I share with all of you this horrifically long project and all the blood sweat and tears that come with it. (:
